Serving a menu that is 100% gluten-free, we believe in sourcing fresh ingredients from local farms, and taking food sustainability to the next level - by promoting sustainable working conditions and wages for food service workers.

Colors Restaurant was originally opened in 2006 by displaced workers from the 2001 World Trade Center disaster.

In October 2014, we reopened after being renovated and rejuvenated. Now catering to Celiacs and Non-Celiacs alike with a delectable menu sans gluten-completely.

Colors is a distinctly sustainable dining establishment brought to life by the non-profit organization, ROC-United. Most of our workers are graduates of the CHOW Institute – Colors Hospitality & Opportunities for Workers – a free workforce development program sponsored by ROC United and provided to hundreds of restaurant workers in the city.
